Uffizi Tickets: Official Prices, Skip-the-Line and Combos

An advance ticket is named, dated and timed. You pick a date and a slot on tickets.uffizi.it, type a name for each ticket, and the entry is at Door 1 within that slot. A same-day ticket at €25 is sold at the ticket office at Door 2, subject to availability; the museum does not state how many same-day tickets exist per day, and in July and August the honest answer is that a morning slot is gone by the time the office opens at 08:15.

Visittuscany, the regional tourism board, states that Saturday and holiday visits must be reserved at least one day ahead. We could not find that sentence on uffizi.it itself, so treat it as the practice rather than the printed rule: on a Saturday, book.

Walk-up works in three cases. In November, January and February at 08:15, when the office queue is short. After 16:00 any day on the €16 afternoon ticket, which the museum sells only at the door. And on the first Sunday of the month, when entry is free, no reservation exists and the queue is the longest of the month.

Firenze Card holders (€85 for 72 hours, about $99) must still reserve an Uffizi slot: the card is not a ticket in hand. Reservation goes through the call centre on 800 615 615 from Italy or +39 055 0354135 from abroad, or on tickets.uffizi.it under the option for Firenze Card owners. The official shop is tickets.uffizi.it. Choose the museum (Uffizi, Pitti, Boboli, the corridor or a PassePartout), then the date, then the time slot; the calendar greys out sold-out slots. Each ticket needs a name, and staff may ask for ID at the door to match it. The ticket arrives by email and is scanned at Door 1.

One trap catches a lot of readers. The B-ticket webshop that sells the Accademia, the Bargello and the Medici Chapels is not the Uffizi channel. If you land on B-ticket looking for the Uffizi, you are in the wrong shop; the Accademia tickets page explains that system. The Uffizi, Pitti and Boboli sell only through tickets.uffizi.it.

Reduced and free tickets still need a slot. An EU citizen aged 18 to 25 books the €2 ticket for a time, a child under 18 books the €0 ticket for a time, and both show ID at the door. The call centre answers Monday to Sunday 08:00–19:00 on the numbers above.

From 1 January 2026 the Uffizi sells a €16 ticket (about $19) for entry from 16:00 onwards. The museum closes at 18:30, so the ticket buys about two and a half hours. The ticket office closes at 17:30; arrive between 16:00 and 16:30 to get the full window.

It fits a second visit, or a highlights run on a hot day when the second floor is a furnace at noon and cool by five. It does not fit a first visit that wants the Botticelli rooms without crowds: those are empty at 08:15 and merely calmer at 17:00. It is also the only official ticket that beats the reserved-entry card on price on most dates, and the only one you cannot book ahead.

There is no official Uffizi + Accademia ticket. The two museums belong to different institutes and sell on different websites, so pairing them means either two official orders (€29 for the Uffizi in advance plus €20 and a €4 reservation fee at the Accademia, about $62 in total) or one GetYourGuide order. The timed pair books fixed slots at both, for example Uffizi 09:30 and Accademia 14:30, and is non-refundable; the small-group walking tour does both with one guide and cancels free up to 24 hours before. A two-day plan that puts each museum on its own morning is the three-day itinerary.

The Uffizi + Vasari Corridor ticket is official: €43 same-day or €47 in advance, with Uffizi entry 2 hours before the corridor slot. It is named, non-transferable and non-refundable, and you must be at the meeting point five minutes before the corridor time. The PassePartout 5 Days costs €40 (about $47) for the Uffizi, Pitti Palace and the Boboli Gardens over five consecutive days, or €58 (about $68) with the corridor added. The first Sunday of every month is free at the Uffizi, as at every Italian state museum. No reservation is possible; the ticket is issued at the entrance. The museum lists disabled visitors and pregnant women as exempt from the queue on those days.

EU citizens aged 18 to 25, plus citizens of Switzerland, Norway, Liechtenstein, Iceland and Uruguay in the same age band, pay €2 with ID. Under-18s of any nationality enter free. Also free: disabled visitors with one companion, teachers and students of the listed art, architecture and conservation faculties, licensed guides and interpreters, registered Italian journalists and ICOM members. Every one of these still books a slot in advance or queues at Door 2.

Groups of eleven or more pay a €70 surcharge (about $82) on top of the tickets, and groups of six or more must use headphones with their guide. Every guided card on this page includes the headsets and absorbs the surcharge in its price.
